The Daimler Fleetline (known as the Leyland Fleetline from c.1975) was a rear-engined double-decker bus chassis built between 1960 and 1973 in Coventry, Warwickshire, England, and from 1973 until 1980 in Farington, Lancashire, England. However, the last complete vehicle did not enter service until 1982. It was superseded by the Leyland Olympian.

The model of the Fleetlines produced by Daimler was CRG6, and after the production transferred to Leyland, the model became FE33AGR (LF) and FE31AGR (SF). First Leyland Fleetline for CMB was LF31. In 1980, CMB purchased 210 second-hand Daimler / Leyland Fleetlines (DMS). CMB allocated XF as fleet number prefix for these buses.

THM596M was a Daimler Fleetline CRL6 / MCW H44/24D new as London Transport DMS1596 in February 1974. On disposal in February 1981 it passed to Graham's of Paisley as their D29, and was rebuilt to H76F. Wilson's of Carnwath acquired it in October 1986. Here it is, Merry Christmas and everybody is shopping.
