The CO2 emissions from the burning of oil (from source [7]) is 2.52 kg CO2 per litre (which is equivalent to 3.15 kg CO2 per kg, and 0.245 kg per kWh) [7]. But this needs to be adjusted for the fossil fuel used in the extraction of oil and in refinery inefficiency, which together gives an inefficiency of 15% (see car sources page), giving a figure of 2.96 kg CO 2 per litre.

The conversion factor is 0.23314 kg CO2 saved for each kWh produced from a carbon free source. The factor is based on the carbon emissions generated by the current UK power stations per kWh generated. This factor includes other green house gasses such as methane and nitrous oxide which are converted to their carbon dioxide equivalents so the value is really kg CO2 eq. per kWh.

While emissions from all fossil fuels increased, the power sector accounted for nearly two-thirds of emissions growth. Coal use in power alone surpassed 10 Gt CO 2, mostly in Kg co2 kwh. A subset of this addresses CO2 or similar implications. Turning to carbon dioxide, if all energy inputs are assumed to be from coal-fired plants, at about one kilogram of carbon dioxide per kWh, it is possible to derive a greenhouse contribution from the energy input percentage of output Refurbished 5kg CO2 Fire Extinguisher. Last but not least, CO2 emissions per kWh generated in France do not include exchanges of energy at interconnections (electricity imports or exports). The greenhouse gas emissions per kWh for the main fuels on this site. The values are used in all CO 2 e calculations throughout. Green house gas emissions data from burning fossil fuels, like natural gas or heating oil is relatively easy to come but can be confusing. To get the full picture you cannot just report CO 2 emissions, since other together, the CO2 emissions for natural gas are almost half as low as for coal. If transport, production and processing materials are taken into account, brown coal produces 1.183 kg of CO2 per kWh of electricity generated If transport, production and processing materials are taken into account, natural gas produces 0.572 kg of CO2 per kWh of Calculating kWh & CO2 Emissions. Look for the wattage of the appliance; eg ‘300W’.

According to my last bill, as a family we use 25.5 kWh of electricity per day. This amount surprised me and I need to work on getting it down.
